One day your world seems right. You have a great husband, a new house that's starting to feel like home, and two of the cutest (if not always best behaved) doggies. You have no complaints about your job. Your husband's job is even better and a deployment is still a couple of years away. Life is good, comfortable, satisfying.
Then there's a meeting. A few of phone calls and suddenly a couple of years turns into a couple of months. And your perfect, right world is thrown into chaos.

I'm so sorry!!!
I know it will not make you feel any better, but I'll say it anyway..... I do know how you feel and yes, it sucks! So, the moral here is that you are not alone in your feelings or along your journey.
I am full aware that my words likely do not ease anything for you on a personal level, the cycle of emotions will ebb and flow, but I just want you to know that you are not alone and it is okay to say it sucks if and when it does!!
Blogging will help you get through, there are many spouses that know exactly how you feel and will be very supportive.
HUGS!!!
Oh, that does stink. Grrrrrr...
I second lovemytanker- blog your way through it. Sometimes venting is the only thing that keeps us sane in our insane military world!
Thinking of you...
It feels so ominous as it approaches. It's a rough time!
Good luck, and we are all here with you. Time to make so crazy goals that might not even slightly feel possible. They'll help make the deployment more measurable in smaller increments.
Military life is completly unpredictable. Sometimes that's one of the best qualities of military life, then other times, it's absolutely the worst.
Highest of highs. Lowest of lows....
Make the most of your two months, and know we're all here for you when you need us.
Please know, we have your virtual back, and let us all know, if ANYTHING can be done to help you!

Ditto what all those ladies have to say. I rely on them and the blog to help find people who understand what this crazy military life is like. Otherwise I think I would have gone mad.

It sucks. Period. Vent away. We completely understand. I hope the months DRAG.
Yeah, this one sucks. like they all said, blog your way through this. A great way to stay connected to the military when surrounded by civilians. Did that for 22 months
