Your Secret Is My Prayer

Every Monday, while reading my favorite blogs, I make sure to include Post Secret. The point behind PS is that anyone can anonymously send a postcard with their secret to the authors. I think PS is a great idea. As the writer, you can finally let your secret out to the entire world, but no one has to know its you. As the reader, well, you may never know who the author is, but then again...you just might.

Yesterday, this secret was posted:

This may or may not have been written by soldier. I think it was. This soldier could be any and every soldier. Next year, it could be my soldier. This is a secret we never speak of. Because if we don't say it, we don't jinx anything, and then it doesn't happen. Right?

I religiously read post secret every monday as well. I saw this one and I stopped on it and just stared. Hubby doesnt talk much about what he thinks about when he's been over there but that made me pause and think for a second about what must run thru their minds.
I like to think that that solider has already safely come home.

I enjoyed stumbling upon your blog!

That is very touching. I think it is the fact that I can't quite talk about it (the fear that he will die while in Iraq next year) that I often find myself at the verge of tears.

Trying and Wendy -
I like how we all have different ways of being strong for our husbands, but all of our ways take on some form of focusing on the positive and knowing that we can't focus on the positive if we're constantly worrying about the negative.

Follow my blog with Bloglovin   This whole claim your blog on Bloglovin is driving me fucking bonkers. Any advice would be sincerely app...
