Nursery Themes

Bitter Betty from The Winter of Our Discontent asked if I had thought about nursery themes yet. Well, of course!! I can not wait to start decorating, but my theme will be based on the gender of the baby so I have to wait until the middle of August to start painting (with low/non-VOC paint, of course).

If the little peanut is a boy we'll be decorating in green and monkeys. This is some of the items I've found:

If the peanut is a girl we'll be decorating in pink (duh) and little piggies.

Pretty! They have so much more to choose from now compared to when Dillon was born 5 years ago. I especially love the pink and brown stuff.

BTW- I see you're reading Scarlett. Gone With the Wind is my absolute favorite book of all time!! I think I've read the 2 of them 800 times myself. My original GWTW finally started losing pages last time I went through it, haha.

Not sure which is cuter the pigs or the monkeys. By the way when Dash-2 saw the pics he made the appropriate animals sounds... obviously both meet his approval.

Those are both great themes and colors! I love that pale green and the monkey's are adoreable!

The piggies are darling as well! You'll have to keep me posted :)

I love your baby nursery finds. I was sure the monkeys were my favorite, until I saw the piggies!
