In other exciting news...my sister found her wedding dress! Sorry, I won't post a picture of it because that would ruin the suprise. Everyone will just have to wait until I post wedding photos next year. By the way, have I mentioned the weddind date? December 31, 2009. It's definitely going to be the best New Year's Eve party I've ever been too. I'd say the best wedding also, but in my world my wedding will always be the best, so Meg's wedding will be the second best :)
Meg and Dru also found their venue: The Inn at Leola Village. This place is gorgeous! Plus, they seem really easy-going about what you can and can't do at their venue. For instance, most places we've visited have said they would want us out of their venue by 12:30-1:00. Um, hello? New Year's Eve!! But this place was totally cool about letting us continue partying until 2:00AM. Also, they allow confetti cannons (!!!) and all the other fun New Year's Eve stuff you should have at the party of the year. Meg and Dru are really excited!
Meg moved in with me last night. Everyone can stop worrying now because I'm no longer the extremely pregnant woman living by herself in a house full of stairs and other dangerous contraptions.
A conversation I had with my mom a few days ago regarding my living alone:
Mom: What happens if you go into labor while you're there by yourself?
Me: They have these things now called telephones. It's not like I would have to send out a rider to let you know.
Oh, moms.

Oh moms! I understand. My mom is the same way.
we had thanksgiving at a friends and the only bad part... no leftovers. : ( not that I get to eat much, flyboy is known to hang around the fridge at 3am scarfing them down. but still... its the point!
Hi Nikki! You're almost there. Thats good that your sister is helping you out, the last month in particular is tiring. Good luck!

Just happened upon your blog via Mrs. Staff Sargeant...
I'm a National Guard wife that has survived my first deployment 2006-2008....
Congrats on your sister finding the perfect dress and venue...and how exciting...a baby for Christmas!
I'll definitely be checking back in.
Leftovers are certainly my favorite part about Thanksgiving!

I can't believe you let flyboy get away with stealing all the leftovers! Stonewall and I would end up having a WWE wrestling match if he tried to pull that :)
