As I mentioned back in November, I found an awesome photographer, Amy, at Heart and Soul Portraits. I took Lil' Mootz to her for his newborn photos and they turned so much better than I could have ever expected. Amy was so amazing with Lil' Mootz. She kept him calm and peaceful the entire time. She even said that he smiled more than any newborn she has ever photographed (*Big proud mommy smile*). I know I said back in November I was going to post the link to these photos, but our last name is listed and so that's a no go. However, believe me when I say that the pictures are FABULOUS! I'm going shopping this weekend for frames and I'll be hanging up the pictures and I'll take a picture of my pictures, so you guys can see them that way.
In the meantime, I'll dazzle you with some of the photos I've taken of my Lil' Mootz.

And I saw you finished Change of Heart by Picoult...what did you think? I read that book this past summer.

August never started sucking his thumb and even though I was such a stinker about Carolina stopping that habit, sometimes I wish we had a couple pictures of him so peaceful.

You might not need to do anything about the thumb sucking. I worried a lot about it, and tried to foist a pacifier on both of them, but the thumb was the favorite. Wyatt has pretty much given it up by himself (and, really, he only did it at night or when he was sad after moving past the baby stage), and Oscar does it so rarely I keep forgetting he does it at all.
