Over on my sidebar I've put up a "Top Commenters of the Month" list. This contest is really pretty simple: The top commenter WINS and gets an AWESOME prize!
And pretty much the only rule: Lil' Mootz's contest, Lil' Mootz's rules!
However, if you're the type of person who likes some guidelines here are few things to help complicate things (or simplify things...it really could go either way):
1. The monthly contest will begin and end on the 27th of each month at noon EST. Lil' Mootz was born on December 27, and since this is his contest, the 27th makes sense.
2. The comments can be left on any post, no matter when the post was written. As long as the comment is left during the current month it will count towards the current month.
3. See that Blogger's Choice Awards - Hottest Mommy Blogger voting button? Lil Mootz really wants his mommy to win! Click there, vote for me and leave me a comment at that site and that counts as a comment in this contest! You can only vote once, so if you've already voted and commented, let me know. If you've already voted, but didn't comment, leave a comment and let me know.
4. The only "Top Commenters of the Month" widget for Blogger that I could find does not work on my blog. Therefore, I have to update the commenters on my own. Bear with me as this is a pain in the ass and I will do my very best to make sure the list remains accurate. *Note to Blogger Gadget Creators: CREATE A TOP COMMENTERS OF THE MONTH WIDGET FOR BLOGGER!!
4. In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen based on the this example: Steph left 4 comments and her most recent comment was left today at 10:31AM. *SexyThang* left 4 comments and his most recent comment was left today at 11:45AM. Steph wins.
5. Due to #3, I have to use the "Reverse Alphabatize" sort, so if you have left the same number of comments as someone below you on the list, it doesn't necessarily mean you're winning (refer to #4 as well) it just means you come after them in the alphabet. BUT, leave one more comment then them and you WIN!

Hahah, it made me laugh that I saw my name at the top of the list, but I understand now!
I have 25 years on Lil' Mootz and he seems like he's much smarter/craftier than his age would reveal to come up with all of these rules -- they make my head spin! ;)
He is such a stud!
Lil' Mootz has to be the smartest kid I know...outside of my nieces and nephews ;)
