Sheeba and My Crack

The husband has been monopolizing my Sheeba (that's my computer, remember?).  His computer has been out of commission for the past few weeks because the wireless went kaput.  When he got a new computer game for Christmas he, of course, put it on Sheeba and has been playing nonstop ever since.

I put my foot down tonight though and told him he had to transfer the game to his computer.  His computer still isn't completely fixed, but he can get on the internet now with it.  Sheeba is mine again and I can finally post some pictures!

I had off work today and I decided to tackle a project that I have been itching to get to.

Our kitchen, as of late, has been getting on my nerves.  It's a pretty small kitchen with very limited cabinet and counter space.  Over the past few years I've helped some of the problems by getting an island to help with counter space, adding some cabinets, and turning a coat closet into a pantry.

The most recent offender was the cabinet with our plates.  Our plates are too big for the cabinet and so since day one the door has been propped open about an inch.  I wasn't very bothered by it at first, but for the last couple of months it's been driving me crazy.

Ugh! So tacky.

We also have a built in shelf, so I got it in my head that I would buy some plate racks and store our plates on the shelf instead.

Well, apparently plate racks aren't very popular. At least not in Lowes and Target and where else would I look for a plate rack? I ended up buying a pan lid organizer and Stonewall had to cut off the legs, so everything would fit.

Not bad, huh?

And the best part...

Put your quarters away because no more crack!

I think it looks great! If you're ever looking for the plate holders again they actually have them at ac moore and sometimes at michaels.
