In the meantime, I have a few fun updates.
A big CONGRATS to my sister and her husband! They are now homeowners! They've seen dozens of houses in the past few weeks. They found one they loved earlier this week and they put an offer on it and their offer was accepted!

I finally chopped the hair off. I decided I wanted something a bit different than normal, so I also dyed it.
Before. Long and dark blonde.
After. Short and super light blonde...
And purple!
Yes, purple. My purple punk streak. I call this my soccer mom with an edge look.
Stonewall says I'm going through my mid-life crisis...just a little early. Whatever. I look hot.

We filed our taxes this morning and are getting a very nice (read: large) refund. Whoop-whoop! Our savings has seriously been dwindling since we had been living off of one paycheck for several months. This is going to help replenish it! Well, except for one small chunk of change that will go towards the thing I've been desperate to buy for months now:
A whirlpool tub.

I LOVE the new dew! The streak is amazing, I've been wanting to add one myself to replace the grey one I got LOL. I colored my hair now I just need hub to help me pick a color for the streak. What is good on a brunette color wise ya think?

OH I just went with the whole new haircut thing too! Short and blonde as well! I think its the long winter getting to us... need to for light fun and spunky.
I used my refund as a down payment on a new SUV!!!! It is fantastic.

Your hair looks super cute! Congrats on the big refund. We bought a house last year so we are getting a hefty return too but we are building a detached garage.

Our refund is large since we bought the house, but that money is just for the house for major repairs or if we have to PCS and can't rent out or sell ours right away. The rest goes toward plating our vehicles in TX (boring I know) and to savings!
Not sure if we are getting one thanks for my stocks and bonds... I always end up owing. But we have little bit now so maybe he'll get us one. If so I have no idea... we are about to pay off out last bit of debt so um...well...savings? lol
Oooo wait, no... I want a new couch! We had to throw ours away before the move.
Lovin' the new hair. I was just thinking yesterday "I wonder when I'll be cutting mine" since it's the longest I have ever had my hair.
