D-Listed Mom Blogs Blog Party 2010

Hi D-Listers and welcome to my blog!

For those of you who are not visiting from the D-Listed Mom Blogs, I'm participating in a blog party/hop this week. If you don't know anything about D-Listed, don't worry...I didn't either until about 30 minutes ago.

So let me fill you in on what I've gathered so far...

D-Listed is for those mom bloggers who barely register a blip in the mommy blogging world. This community is to help get your blog out there among your peers. Once a week D-Listed randomly selects 5 featured bloggers from all the D-Listed mom blogs.  One week soon that could be you! In the meantime, you can check out the current featured bloggers and show them some comment love.

To be included on the D-List all you have to do is email them your blog badge. If you don’t have a blog badge, they’ll help you create one!

Now back to the blog hop!

A little bit about me... (Some of you may have read this already from previous blog hops...but hey, it's always good to refresh yourself on what I'm all about in case you need to buy me the perfect gift.)

In my own world on a pink park bench, I'm the coolest person you'll ever meet. In reality...well, who really cares about reality when we're on the internet and "meeting" through my blog?

Yummy Mummy

The most important parts of my life are these two: Stonewall, my amazing husband (whom I married on the luckiest day of the year) and Officer in the US Army and Lil Mootz, our sweet precious baby boy.  I also have two little fur babies, Pippy (a Pomeranian) and Sarge (a Chihuahua). I couldn’t live without my family!

Stonewall belongs to the National Guard (and if you make a disparaging comment about the National Guard and it’s soldiers, I will have no problem kicking your blog ass.) We’ve some how managed to make it through two deployments and we could be looking at another one very soon (CONUS, thank God!).   This military life hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Homecoming

I'm a super huge fan of the color pink, blonde hair, cute shoes, even cuter sundresses, and....ranch dressing. I couldn't live without Chapstick, Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper, or bottled water. At the top of the soundtrack of my life would be Dancing Queen by ABBA.  If I have some free time on my hands, chances are you'll find me reading, writing (probably on this blog), or shopping (online or at Target)Cooking is NOT my favorite, but I do it to feed the family.  Baking is just above cooking, although I do love the results of baking a whole heck of a lot.  I may be a girl, but I do poop. And I talk about it.  Deal with it. I like to clarify all those crazy happenings in the world today that make you go, "Hmmm...". And I have a little bit of a rebellious streak that's purple. But that's a fairly new addition.

Purple Streak

I’m also a girl on a mission right now.  I’m hosting a Blog Against Bullying Blog Party (aka Blog Hop) on June 5 & 6 with several awesome giveaways!  If you want to join in (and I REALLY hope you will!), you can get caught up on all the details…

Part 1: Bullycide

Part 2: I Was A Victim

Part 3: It’s My Party

Part 4: Giveaways!

So in a post (and several links)…that’s me.  I hope you’ll come back and visit again.  I’m looking forward to meeting all of you!

D-list crasher here....

Following you now. I have a disclaimer about discussing poo in my About Me section so I guess you could say you had me at "poop". Take that, Jerry Maguire.

I have enjoyed reading your blog, and your little boy is adorable. Thank you for letting me visit.
My hubby is retired military, so it is nice to meet another military family as well.

Checking out your blog from the D-List Party!! Those pictures are beautiful in your introduction post. Love them!! Can't wait to read more :)

And yes, my hubs plays for the O's. Right now, he's on the DL unfortunately. We are headed home to rehab his elbow and hopefully surgery won't be necessary.

Thanks to you and your husband for your service. My husband is a fellow military member - he is active duty in the Navy, a submariner.

My husband just went off for Army Officer training, and I am so nervous. I guess I am officially an army wife!

I will like to be friends, as I am very very ignorant when it comes to the military way of life. Your son and husband are so gorgeous, and I am so happy for you.

I also have a daughter which makes me even worry more for our future, but I am sure God is in control.

Have a great week dear! I am now a follower of your blog

Follow my blog with Bloglovin   This whole claim your blog on Bloglovin is driving me fucking bonkers. Any advice would be sincerely app...
