Unfortunately, we were one of the 40,000 houses in our area last night that lost electricity, so our schedule for today got thrown way off. By midnight last night we were supposed to have a clean house and be packed to go. By 8:00, I was taking Lil Mootz to his great-grandparent's house to sleep because our house was hot as all get out without AC. By 10:00, I had given up packing and cleaning because I was sweating like crazy and I was getting frustrated trying to do everything while holding a flashlight.
It also mean I didn't get to write my Thursday 13 last night, so this is as good as it gets.
I'll be taking the laptop with me, so I'll blog as often as I can while we're gone, but I'm not promising anything. Also, since we'll be charged by the minute at the hotel for using the Internet I won't be updating the Top Commenter contest. However, keep the comments a-comin' and I'll get the list caught up on Tuesday.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! If you see a car with a man strapped to the roof heading down 95 that's probably us. My hubs has a bad case of road rage, so to keep my sanity I may have to regulate.

No air? That's just unbearable.
Try eating in restaurants that have wi-fi while you're away and you will save money by not having to connect at the hotel. Our power was out for 6 days during the ice storm, but I was able to go ahead and do all of my sports shoots, edit in a spare cubicle in my husband's office and upload and order prints from a restaurant. Chilli's, Santa Fe Steakhouse and alot of fast food places like Burger King offer wi-fi.
Oh, enjoy! I hope you do a full recap on where you're staying, what you're doing, where you're eating, etc. I REALLY want to go to Charleston and would love recommendations!

Fun!! Our electricity went our a few weeks ago and I realized how unprepared we are for natural disaster. My cell phone was not made to be a flashlight!
