...As if the total loss of control of my car isn't enough warning for me.
I'd like to know who has to see that light before realizing, "Oh geez. My car is sliding on the icy, snowy road..."
...And then I'd like them to forfeit their driver's license.

You read my mind...we just got another foot of snow last night and my jeep was stuck this morning when I was trying to move it. Sure enough, there goes the stupid flashing orange light...Oh, I'm stuck in snow? Is THAT why I'm not moving?????
And so far we've gottn no snow this year. I guess that's better than the ice storm and the 6 day power outage we had last year, but I'd love to have just a little... just once! Can you send us some?

Yeah, those lights are funny. I'm sliding, no really? Whew...I think I might have missed that. Maybe they put them in for the "dumb drivers." :)
LOL, this is true...although about a year ago, I was turning into our neighborhood, and hit a patch of black ice...my first thought was WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR!, my second was Ohhhh crap. Yeah I ran into this HUGE rock, lol. I can laugh now, but it was very traumatic. I didn't even notice the orange light either, ha!
Who actually looks at their dashboard when sliding on the ice anyway?
