All Aboard the Choo-Choo Bed!

You may recall that I mentioned in my Vintage Circus Baby Shower post that my dad was working on a very awesome project for me. Well, actually for Lil Mootz.  As a hobby my dad is a wood worker.  He's made some pretty nifty things over the years, including a dollhouse for me one year for my birthday.

I thought it was getting time to move Lil Mootz to a toddler bed.  We bought a convertible crib for him, so it turns into a toddler bed, but I asked my dad if he could make a bed for Lil Mootz instead.  And, boy, did he deliver?!  Lil Mootz definitely has the coolest bed!

 

Since Lil Mootz is really into trains, or choo-choos as he calls them, we thought a train bed would be mighty appropriate.

And we were right!  He absolutely loves his choo-choo!  Every time he climbs into bed he tells us he's going for a ride on the choo-choo.

Even though he loves his new bed, these past two night have been a bit rough.  He certainly is taking advantage of the fact that he can climb out of bed on his own now.  Once he finally does lay down for good though he's out like a light.

Speaking of lights... The headlight on the train really turns on, so we can use it as a nightlight!
