I saw that and I was so irritated. It doesn't matter to me who said it (although I know), but I think it's completely disrespectful of her to talk to him that way.
I don't care what your politics are, he is respectfully addressing you the way he has been trained/taught to do. Don't treat him like a child!
She's a jerk. I agree with Lisa...he wasn't using ma'am to disrespect her...just the opposite. She has no idea how hard HE worked to get his title either.
