Well, not as well as I hoped. Apparently, I was overly ambitious and I did not get everything done.
*sigh*
I'm kinda disappointed in myself. I don't think...well, okay, I know...I did not work as hard as I could have. I was a slacker. I'm not a good cleaner. One because I hate cleaning, two because I get easily distracted and three because of one and two I get overwhelmed and scatterbrained when it comes to cleaning.
I did get some stuff done. My house does not look the same. My kitchen, living room, fireplace room, and laundry room are cleaner and more organized. They aren't what I was aiming for, but I feel much less depressed and stressed when I walk into them which is the entire reason for cleaning to begin with. I feel like I got a good start, so I'll spend my next few afternoons after work (hopefully) finishing the other rooms.
Okay, so I'll admit I didn't clean today. *cringe* I know! I know! I just got done saying I didn't get as much cleaning finished as I had wanted to, so you would think I would have spent today cleaning. Yeah, well, no.
Lil' Mootz and I hung out all day playing, watching TV, being silly, getting out new toys, and eating (something we're both really good at).
It was an AWESOME day!
We haven't spent much time together the past few days. Since I wanted to focus on cleaning, Lil' Mootz spent his time at day care or at his Grammy's house or in his Pack N' Play. So today it was about him and me spending time together and making each other laugh.
I love days like today. They are my absolute favorite!

Im horrible at cleaning or I do every thing half ass lol when J is gone. When he is home or about to come home I am throwing a fit at myself for not doing it sooner. I am the source of my own stress lol.
ugh, cleaning sucks. i just mopped at one in the morning so i don't have to wake up to a dirty floor! but sounds like you and lil mootz had a fun time :)
The stars have to align just right for me to do a ton of cleaning. Hubby not home, morning, diet coke in hand and music. Otherwise its like pulling teeth to get things done.

I never regret a day not cleaning! I hate to clean.
Cleaning stinks! Yay for getting some done though!
Cleaning is the worst part of my day. Mainly because I avoid doing it most of the day!
