Fabulous Friday: Cards By Kids & SitterCity.com (It's Free!)

Anyone looking for a great Mother's or Father's Day gift?

I received an email yesterday from an awesome company called Cards By Kids.  Your child's work of art can become a published masterpiece. It's really pretty simple:
  1. Your child creates a magnificent piece of art.
  2. You send Cards By Kids a digital photo or scanned copy of the artwork (along with the necessary forms and payment).
  3. Cards By Kids turns your child's artwork into a greeting card or postcard along with your little artist's personal info on the back.
There are several more products on the site (including Cards By Babies and Artbook Portfolios).

I plan on sitting down with Lil Mootz and helping him make some artwork for a Thank You card.  When I get them I'll be sure to share them.

This is for all my military readers out there...

SitterCity.com is offering a wonderful fully funded military family (includes active-duty, Guard, and reserves) membership to SitterCity.com! (Must enter military member's full name, SSN, and birth date to verify military status every 30 days.)  SitterCity.com helps you locate qualified, trustworthy babysitters and nannies in your city.  All you do is post a job for a sitter and then the sitter's come to you.  It's so much easier than calling up every relative and teenage girl you have in your phonebook.

SitterCity.com also has a plethora of articles on how to find and keep a sitter.  Questions to ask, checking references.  There are also sections for working parents, cyber safety and health and food.

And it's all free!

Don't have any kids yet?  What about little fur babies?

SitterCity.com has you covered.  SitterCity.com offers help in finding pet sitters, senior care, housekeeping and tutoring. (Once you sign-up for your free membership, click on the "Add Care Type" tab to access these networks.)

And did I mention it's free for military families?

I thought so.  Go check it out and plan a date night with the hubby before he goes off to save the world again!

That sounds like such a good idea. I wish I would have done that with my daughter's art work. Have fun. Hope it works.
