I Caught A Droid & I’m Feeding It Skittles

Just a quick disclaimer: I am in NO WAY making fun of mentally handicapped individuals, or any other individuals for that matter, in this post.  If you can’t find the humor in this post, please don’t bother commenting.  Just keep on going until you find CNN or some other serious site.

A dude I work with told us this story about a friend of his wife’s cousin (and he did verify with his wife last night that this story is 100% true).

The friend has a son who is mentally handicapped, but is able to take care of himself for short periods of time.  While the friend would go to work every day, her son would stay at home by himself.

One day, while at work, the friend received a phone call from her son.

Son: Mom, I caught a droid.

Friend: You caught a what?

Son: I caught a droid and I’m feeding it Skittles.

Friend: You caught a droid?

Son: Yes.

Friend: I’ll be right home.

So the friend goes home and finds her son sitting up against the closet doors shoving Skittles under the door.

Get ready for it.  If you have food or drink in your mouth I suggest you swallow before reading on.

The friend opened the closet door and there was a little person sitting inside.

It seems that the Census Bureau is going door to door asking people if they’ve returned their census yet.  The little person was just out doing his job when he was mistaken for a *droid*, shoved in a closet, and fed Skittles.

Luckily, the little person understood that the son was mentally handicapped and did not press charges.
