This Book Is Dedicated To...

There was a bit of confusion as to whether or not I had written a book.  Indeed, I have not.  However, when I do you all will be the first to know.  In the meantime, please continue to enjoy my lovely blog.

This got me thinking though.  All books have their dedication page in which the author shares some funny inside joke or sweet sentiment. When I do write my first best seller who will I dedicate it to?

To my son, Lil Mootz...
                                ....you inspire me every day.

To my husband, Stonewall...
....you think I'm funny, you put up with my bullshit, and you love me because of it all.

To my mom...
....you always believed I could do anything (except sing, which is why I'm dedicating a book and not a song).

To Barry...
....you paid for my college tuition just so I could write a book that had nothing to do with my majors and you're still proud of me.

To my dad...
....we finally figured out how to be father and daughter and friends.

To my sister...
....we're sisters by chance and best friends by choice.

To my brother...
....you let us become a part of your family.  Plus, the pressure is now off of me to be the oldest and most responsible.

To my sisters-in-law...
....I also got two of the very best friends out of the deal.

To my mother-in-law...
....you know why I feel the need to throw mascara and you understand.

To the rest of my in-laws...
....on the crazy scale you're all pretty normal and family reunions aren't all that bad.

To Carsley...
....we're soul mates. (And because you let me sleep on your futon and you'll change my clothes for me...no details necessary.)

To Jen...
....you got me through Statistics, let me copy your CLJ notes, and shared french fries with me at our boys-suck-so-we're-eating-junk-food-until-we-can-stand-them-again dinners.

To Amber...
....your blog is bitchin' and it's not often I come across someone as cool or as funny as me.

To my Yummiest bloggers...
....you read my crap and some of you actually laugh.

So who is your book dedicated to?

To Yummy Mummy.....

sometimes when nobody is looking, I smell my own farts, and that is when I think of you.

I won't let you forget about me when you do finally write your book, but if by chance you do...I'll have my 4 monkeys through their poo at you!

Love ya...mean it!

You better get to writing that book because your dedication page rocks.

Stopping by from Theta Mom and I love this. I've thought about book dedications, but I think writing them down is way more fun than just thinking about them!

Great blog!

Hey, Yummy Mummy. Thanks for stopping by the Cellulite Investigation. It's always fun to meet another SITSah. Good luck on the book! I need to go poke around your blog to try to find out what it's going to be about.
