Fabulous Friday: I’ve Got To Have Faith

It’s Friday, people! The sun is sporadically shining, its over 80 degrees, and we’re getting a thunderstorm later this weekend. (I LOVE thunderstorms!)

Second is a Little Tikes Makin’ Mudpies Toy!  Lil Mootz would just LOVE this and the mess he would get to make.  You can see the details for the giveaway here: Little Tikes Makin’ Mud Pies Review & Giveaway.

Remember SitterCity.com and it’s free service to all military?  Well, they’re giving even more to military families!

They’ve created a Facebook page: SitterCity for Military Families.

Military families can join the page and have a place to find up-to-date information about Sittercity, including events, pictures, parenting tips and discussions. They’ve  also created a Featured Family section that will honor a special military family each month.

I’ve mentioned before that Stonewall is National Guard and that I’m quite proud of this.  I’ve also had quite a few comments letting me know that the National Guard is, well, for the dogs.

You can read here and here why I disagree with those comments and have no problem telling those people who make such comments to go suck it.

That being said, the National Guard has released a new video, Moments of Pride, that I think is pretty cool.  Using YOUR public Facebook information (photos, hometown info, friends’ names) the Guard video provides a real world glance at a typical weekend in the life of the men and women who represent the National Guard.

Honestly, the video reminds me of something Universal or Epcot would turn into a ride or something.  Check it out here: Moments of Pride Facebook.

And this song goes out to Danielle.  I’ve decided this is the current song on the soundtrack of your life. You’re welcome :)
