I
know the Pink Park Bench has been filled with all memes this week, but I thought I would join Wifey on her meme debut week.
1.How did you and your spouse/significant other meet?
It was like this: Our families hated each other and there was this huge feud going on. One night Stonewall crashed a party at my family's house. (It may or may not have been a costume party.) I was practically engaged to this one dude, but Stonewall totally caught my eye. We danced, we flirted (we quoted 16th century poetry to each other). I finally agreed to marry him and it all happened rather quickly. Very romantic. Then there was a huge sword fight and Stonewall killed my cousin and...wait a minute. No. That's Romeo and Juliet.
Ah yes, here you go. You can read our great love story here: Our Story.
2.What is the best thing about being a MilSpouse?
The uniform. Obviously. Please tell me the last time you heard any hot-blooded woman say, "I hate men in uniforms. I would much rather have a man dressed like this..."
Exactly.
3.What is the hardest thing about being a MilSpouse?
Well, if the best thing is the uniform, the hardest thing has got to be the belt. That thing twists and turns and Velcros every which way. Pants are not falling down in the Army. Getting that thing off in the moment of passion (which, when you have a man in uniform, is often) is like trying to break into Ft. Knox. It's like the Army's official chastity belt.
4.What is your favorite dish?
I just bought a set of melamine dinnerware. I'd been looking for melamine dinnerware for over a year when this set finally caught me eye. I loved it so much I bought it in both blue and green.

I guess, technically, that's more than one dish, but they all look the same so it counts.
(I'm also a huge fan of my mom's chicken pot pie and chocolate chip cookies.)
5.If you could change one thing in this world, what would it be?
I would switch the weekdays and the weekends. We would work for 2 days and have a 5 day weekend. Either that or underwire. It's just so uncomfortable. There has got to be a better solution for those of us with tig ol' bitties.
Head on over to Wife of a Sailor and join up!

THat was Freaking FUNNY!
HAHAHA! I'm lovin' the picture! And I like the uniforms, but dang - his wardrobe is more expensive than mine!
Glad I found your blog!
LOL! I have half a mind to send the part about the Army belt to my dad, he'd enjoy that. Also... you're awesome. (PS: the word verification today is "hymens", wtf?)
You absolutely crack me up... and I was wondering if anyone was going to go that way on dish (yes, I did it on purpose!).
I'm never disappointed when I come to your blog! Thanks for helping me with the debut!
wow... first time to this blog, love it... I agree with the man in uniform thing though, it is definitely a HUGE perk of being a MilSpouse :)
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! Your Friday Fill-In was cracking me up...especially the part about the belt...I know exactly which belt you are talking about! hahaha! I can't wait to do the post it note Tuesdays next Tuesday...boy oh boy do I have have some things to say :)
the chastity belt of the military ROFLMAO :D
I've missed your crazyness!!!! Have I told you I love you lately? Nope, probably not, because I've been in a drug coma for like 2wks.
Anyways...I'll take the shirtless guy in the top pic! He is so classy looking. A true Studmuffin!
Oh...and I want to attend the Madd teaparty tomorrow!
That was absolutely hysterical. I appreciate humor and yours is right up my alley. :) The belt comment was especially hilarious, as I have the same frustration with Air Force belts. When my man comes home in October, he better be in civvies, or take the belt off on the plane!
You are hysterical! LOVED your answers!
Oooooh that's a GOOD one: Switch the weekend and week days! And that's so true about the belt.
LMAO. EVERYONE seems to be doing these lately, and to be honest, I've been glazing over them in my reader, not really reading them. But yours was great!
I don't think putting those two in a uniform would make them attractive - but it would be an improvement.
I love this blog you are too funny and thank you for following I am a new follower to you and I can't wait from what I've read you sound just like me and I like that! I love these blogs its so helpful especially with all the changes. Hopefully we'll get a new date soon!
Just wondering.... where do you get all of your ugly wedgie and red neck men photos? Do you take these yourself? And if so, how did you approach these two to get permission to take this one?
