MilSpouse Friday Fill-In: Hehe...You Said Duty

It's time again for MilSpouse Friday Fill-In hosted by the lovely Wifey at Wife of a Sailor!

She has some fun questions for us this week, so let's get to it...

1.Tell us about your dream job… one that you could do regardless of pay.
I want to be a ringtone maker, so I can make awesome ringtones like this:

Dude, your father is proud!
(This is made from a message left on the maker's answering machine.  She's complaining about the foreign country he decided to visit.)

Or a stay-at-home mom or a freelance writer.  Obviously, I don't like money.

2.What is your most prized material possession (kids and pets don’t count!)?
I wasn't going to say kids or pets anyway.  They aren't worth much monetarily.  And isn't that what really matters when it comes to material possessions?  How much you can get for them should you need to pawn them or have an auction?

3.What has been your favorite duty station and why?
Geez, this is a toughy.  I've been to so many... When I was a kid I was very hesitant about going some place that wasn't familiar to me, but as I've gotten older I've gotten better about going anywhere.  I mean, it's not really a choice, is it? Hmmm...honestly, my favorite it probably mine at home.  It's never too cold.  I don't have to worry about germs that don't belong to me.  I have a nice stack of reading material.  There was one at a hotel, though, that was really pretty nice.  Marble floors and countertops, mints, gold fixtures, very roomy leg room... Although, I don't think I went duty on that station, just pee.

4.What is your least favorite household chore?
Paying the maid.  Such a hassle, you know?  Why can't she work for Pepperidge Farm goldfish?  I have plenty of those.  I'm pretty sure she can't even legally work here anyway...

5.If you could give one piece of advice to a teenager today (not specifically a MilTeen), what would it be?
Just say no to crack.
And wedgies.

This Public Service Announcement brought to you by Carsley and the lady who couldn't find adult size pants.

If you haven't already, head on over to Wifey's blog and join up!

I hope everyone has an excellent holiday weekend.  Wish us luck on Lil Mootz's first camping trip!

Well, I'm not a military spouse, but as a kid growing up all I ever wanted to be was a Mommy! Now, I'd be perfectly content just being Grandma, but since that cost money, I must continue to work. *lol*

And I wonder what the chances are that the woman with the wedgie will ever see her big behind posted on the internet. That was a great reminder to dress in such a way that I go un-noticed. (which means, no white t-shirts on water rides)

Time for a new post.

The wedgie needs to slide further down the page - and to get it to do that you'll have to tell us something new. So, how's your 4th going?

YOu are too funny! So you'd like to be a freelance writer? You totally should. I've gotten a lot of writing opportunities because of my blog.

Hope you're having a great 4th!
