Pumpkin Carving & Painting

Carsley went home yesterday...

*sad face*

We had a great time while she was here! Carsley took a ton of pictures, so I'll be sure to share them with you all when she gets her movie (that I just know she's going to make!) finished.

In the meantime...

We carved pumpkins on Carsley's last day here. This was Lil Mootz's first time carving...well, okay...painting a pumpkin. He had a blast! He wasted no time making a masterpiece of his pumpkin and of himself.

(Aren't the editing effects so much fun awesome?!  Picnik put out their Halloween effects a while ago and I've been dying to try them out.)

Has anyone else carved their pumpkins yet?

Cute pumpkins! I haven't carved one, yet. I normally do it too soon and my pumpkin is rotten by Halloween, so this year I am waiting.... most likely until after Grace gets her, because I probably could use a little help. And pumpkin carving is more fun with a friend!

Love the slide show. The effects were really cute! We usually do ours the weekend before but with Halloween falling on Sunday we will probably do ours that Friday or Saturday. I am kinda getting the inkling to do one or two now since viewing your photos!!! :)

AWESOME pumpkins! I love the bones! I should totally do a leg and foot, with a broken metatarsal of course!
