Yay for Friday!! It's been awhile since I joined in the fun over at Wifey's...
So here we go!
1.During military separations (whether short or long) how do you keep yourself positive and motivated? submitted by Married/Single Parent
I just like to keep a countdown until the next time I get to have s-e-x. That tends to keep one motivated and wanting to move forward with a day. 365 days until I do the dirty....285 days until I get me some of that...100 days until I get laid...etc and so forth. Sure, some days it gets a bit depressing. I mean, 175 days seems like such a L....O....N....G time, but on those days I just meet up with BOB. That pretty much jumpstarts me for a while longer.
2.What is your favorite concert you have ever been to? submitted by Young but Not (Completely) Dumb
I really can't pick just one concert here because I have two favorites, but for different reasons.
Michael Bublé in concert is ah-may-zing. If you ever have the chance to see him in concert it's a must. First, he's an amazing singer. He usually ends his concerts by singing acapella and with no microphone and you can hear him all the way in the back of the room. Second, he's hilarious. You will spend half the concert dancing and signing along and the second laughing your ass off. Third, and what makes him a stand out, he's totally real. When he walks through the crowd to the center stage he basically says, "I'm only going to walk by you once, so you might as well get your grab on then." And he means it. What other artist does that? It must drive his bodyguards crazy. He always dedicates Home to the military (double score!) and he does crazy things like takes phone calls. Not his phone calls, audience member phone calls. The last concert of his we went to, halfway through a song he took an audience member's cell phone who was trying to give it to him and actually spoke to the person on the other line.
My other favorite concert, Prince. The man's songs and singing can give you an orgasm in your seat 300 people away. I rest my case.
3.What do you miss most about your “hometown”? submitted by A Florida Girl and Her Soldier
Well, I'm still living in my hometown, so... What can I say? Active-duty National Guard has it's perks. Not many, mind you, but they do exist.
4.If you could run in any race, which charity would you choose to support? submitted by Wookie & Co.
LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY!!! Oh wait that's right, I already am walking a 1/2 marathon for a charity. Duh! And you should totally be supporting me and caring enough to find a cure for all blood cancers by donating to LLS by using that little donate button up on the top of my sidebar.
Just remember, if you don't donate, karma's one nasty mo-fo.
5.You find out Willy Wonka is your father, what 3 course meal do you INSIST he create in that stick of gum? submitted by A{muse}ing Mommy on a Pink Park Bench
I'm fairly sure I had some really witty answer to this when I devised this question. And since I'm drawing a blank I'll just answer this question straight... the Brie brûlée appetizer from The Left Bank, followed by a medium rare juicy filet mignon with asparagus and fancy au gratin potatoes, and ending with a creamy warm Crème brûlée with a side of berries.
If Baby Daddy Willy can't pull this off, I'm asking Jelly Belly to adopt me.
Have a great weekend, my peeps!
